Warranty Support
AUTONEX PARTS provides technical and warranty support for eligible mechatronic units, TCUs, VGS modules and related transmission components.
Because compatibility may depend on the VIN, OE reference, transmission version, hardware/software configuration and vehicle application, warranty cases are reviewed together with the relevant vehicle and diagnostic information.
12-Month Limited AUTONEX Commercial Warranty
Eligible AUTONEX PARTS products are covered by a 12-Month Limited AUTONEX Commercial Warranty from the date of delivery, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page, invoice or written quotation.
This commercial warranty covers eligible defects attributable to the supplied product under normal intended use and subject to the conditions below.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any mandatory statutory rights available under applicable consumer law.
What Is Covered
Subject to technical assessment, the commercial warranty may cover:
- Confirmed internal electronic or mechanical defects in the supplied unit
- Defects attributable to the refurbishment, preparation or testing of the unit
- Confirmed product faults arising during normal intended use
- Compatibility issues where AUTONEX PARTS confirmed the application using accurate information supplied by the customer
All claims are subject to technical review and, where necessary, inspection of the returned product.
VIN & Compatibility Verification
Accurate compatibility verification is particularly important for transmission mechatronic and electronic control components.
Where possible, please provide:
- Full 17-digit VIN
- Vehicle make, model and year
- Original OE/reference number where available
- Clear photograph of the original unit and identification label
- Transmission code or hardware/software information where applicable
If incomplete or incorrect vehicle or original-unit information is provided and this results in an incorrect application, the issue may not qualify as a product defect.
Installation & Programming
Transmission electronic components must be installed and configured according to the applicable vehicle and transmission procedures.
Depending on the application, installation may require:
- Correct mechanical and electrical installation
- Correct transmission fluid and service procedures
- Coding or programming
- Adaptation or basic settings
- Calibration
- Vehicle-specific security or immobiliser procedures
A unit should not be considered defective solely because additional programming, coding, adaptation or basic settings are required.
Pre-Programming Service
Pre-programming is available for selected eligible products.
Where this service is ordered, AUTONEX PARTS prepares the unit using the VIN, vehicle information and original-unit data supplied by the customer.
Pre-programming does not necessarily mean plug-and-play installation.
Final coding, adaptation, calibration, basic settings or other vehicle-side procedures may still be required after installation.
If a configuration issue is confirmed to have resulted from an error in a pre-programming service performed by AUTONEX PARTS, we will assist with correction or provide an appropriate resolution.
What Is Not Covered
The commercial warranty does not normally cover faults or damage caused by:
- Incorrect diagnosis
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect coding, programming or adaptation performed by third parties
- Vehicle wiring, communication or power-supply faults
- Faults originating from other vehicle components
- Incorrect fluid, contamination or insufficient lubrication
- Overheating, water ingress, corrosion or abnormal voltage
- Accident, impact or external physical damage
- Misuse or use outside the intended application
- Unauthorised modification or repair where it caused the failure or prevents proper technical assessment
- Normal wear or consumable items
- Problems unrelated to the supplied product
These exclusions apply to the AUTONEX PARTS commercial warranty and do not affect mandatory statutory rights where applicable.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Please contact AUTONEX PARTS before returning any product.
To allow us to assess the case efficiently, please provide:
- Order or invoice number
- Full 17-digit VIN and vehicle details
- OE/reference number
- Photographs of the supplied unit and original unit where available

Our technical team may recommend diagnostic checks before requesting a return.
Return Authorisation & Inspection
If physical inspection is required, AUTONEX PARTS will provide return instructions.
Please do not return a warranty item without prior authorisation, as unauthorised returns may delay identification and processing.
Once received, the product may be inspected and tested to determine whether the reported issue is attributable to the supplied unit.
Warranty Resolution
If a valid commercial warranty defect is confirmed, AUTONEX PARTS will provide an appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances, which may include:
Repair · Replacement · Reprogramming / Correction · Refund or Credit
The appropriate resolution will depend on the nature of the fault, product availability and the circumstances of the claim, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Warranty Return Shipping
Where a valid warranty defect is confirmed, reasonable warranty-related return shipping will be handled in accordance with the circumstances of the claim and applicable legal requirements.
If inspection confirms that the supplied product is functioning correctly and the reported issue results from incorrect diagnosis, installation, programming, vehicle-side faults or another excluded cause, return and redelivery costs may be payable by the customer.
Please follow the return instructions provided by AUTONEX PARTS to avoid unnecessary courier, customs or import charges.
Labour & Other Costs
Unless required by applicable law or agreed by AUTONEX PARTS in writing, the commercial warranty applies to the supplied product only.
Third-party labour charges, diagnostic charges, towing, storage, vehicle downtime, loss of use, loss of business and other indirect or consequential costs are not included in the commercial warranty.
Shipping Damage
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph:
- Outer packaging
- Shipping label
- Internal packaging
- The product and any visible damage
Please contact us as soon as possible and, where practical, within 48 hours of delivery so that we can assist with the courier claim process.
This reporting request does not limit any mandatory statutory rights.
Refunds & Non-Fault Returns
For order cancellations, change-of-mind returns or other non-warranty returns, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy.
Warranty Support is intended primarily for product faults, technical issues and warranty claims.
Statutory Consumer Rights
The AUTONEX PARTS 12-Month Limited AUTONEX Commercial Warranty is an additional commercial warranty.
It does not exclude, restrict or replace mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of the customer’s country.
